Why the source layer matters
A historical card concept, a particular illustration, a digital scan or restoration, a contemporary adaptation, and explanatory prose can have different creators and rights. The repository tracks those layers separately instead of attaching one licence label to everything called a deck.
Profiles report only the current production manifest and archived source pages. They do not invent a creator biography, review score, endorsement, legal guarantee, or contact route. Follow the primary source link when you need the creator’s current description.
